How to Hide POs (Purchase Orders)

If you have purchase orders that you don't want being factored into your purchasing recommendations, learn how to hide POs below. 

Why would I need to hide Purchase Orders?

This feature is helpful to ignore special purchase orders you do not want accounted for in your regular replenishment, such as non-recurring wholesale orders. If you have a purchase order placed for a special order and it is not hidden, ForecastRx will assume that is a regular purchase order coming in to cover the upcoming demand and will give you a lower purchasing recommendation than needed. It is important to hide any purchase order that will not be used for regularly occurring sales, so your purchasing recommendations are not negatively impacted. 

How to hide POs:

Navigate to Manage Company > Purchase Orders, enable the Hidden column, then select the checkbox in the Hidden column to hide the entries. Once POs are hidden, they will not appear in Existing PO Qty when viewing your purchasing recommendations or be shown in the Purchase Orders tab of the Item Card.

You can also do this in bulk based on units ordered by selecting the red “Automatically Hide POs” button at the top right of the grid. Any Order Qty greater than or equal to the number you enter into this box will be hidden at once.  

Note: If you hid purchase orders by accident and want them factored into the recommendations again, filter the Hidden column to “Is True” to view all hidden entries, then deselect the checkbox to unhide the POs.
